Super Chat and Super Stickers: Set-up and Tips for Using Them

Eligibility

To be eligible for Super Chat and Super Stickers, make sure that you first meet the minimum requirements for fan funding features. Then confirm that you fit the other criteria outlined below for Super Chat and Super Stickers:

You live in one of the available locations.
You (and your MCN) have accepted and are complying with our terms and policies (including the relevant Commerce Product Module).

Requirements for individual videos

Super Chat and Super Stickers aren't available on the following types of videos:

Age-restricted
Unlisted
Private
Made for Kids
With YouTube Giving fundraisers

Super Chat and Super Stickers are also not available when live chat or comments are turned off.

If you have access, the Supers tab or card will surface in the Earn section of YouTube Studio.

Super Chat and Super Stickers policies

Super Chat and Super Stickers are fan funding features. Therefore, participating creators (and their MCNs) are subject to all policies that apply to YouTube fan funding features.

Like everything on YouTube, the Super Chats and Super Stickers viewers send must comply with our Community Guidelines. If a Super Chat or Super Sticker is moderated and removed for violating our policies, YouTube will donate our portion of the revenue to charity.

You must also continue to comply with all applicable laws as required by YouTube's Terms of Service. Money that you get from Super Chats and Super Stickers may be treated differently based on laws that apply to you and your activities. You should be aware that Super Chat and Super Stickers aren't crowdfunding or donation tools. You're responsible for understanding and fully complying with all applicable laws -- including whether or not you can turn on, offer, send and get money from Super Chats and Super Stickers.
